We are two little girls who want a simple place to play. We want a playhouse. It does not need to be fancy - just simply a place to play - to cover us from the rain, wind and storms of life. We have looked online and found out that they cost a lot of money. It even cost lots of money to buy plans to build a playhouse. So, our mission is to find out a way to create a place to simply play, simply pray or simply be little girls. Can you help us. Please post comments about plans, places to buy supplies, or donate to our chip in. Next summer we pray we have a place to play to be just two little girls simply.

Habitat for Humanity a great place to shop...

When we raise enough money for our playhouse we will be using our local Habitat for Humanity to buy supplies and materials.

Please be sure to check out a great way to recycle and reuse. Habitat for Humanity ReStore:  http://www.habitat.org/env/restores.aspx

Please think about sending us a dollar or two at the chipin and forwarding this on to your friends. Thank you again.

We have a dream.....

We are two young girls with dreams of a playhouse.  Nothing fancy, just simply a place to play.  Our parents told us we could have a play house if we could afford the materials to build it. So we decided to put up a blog to try to raise the money a dollar or so at a time.  Please think about donating a dollar or two and passing along our chip in and request.
We would like to go to the local "habitat for humanity store" and buy recycled materials: windows, doors, wood, flooring, siding and anything else we might need.
We found out that plans can cost lots of money so we think we will go with a small church  or school design. Churches have kitchens, and meet the needs of the community and schools are the same way.  We will not be holding real church services or classes only  pretending with the activities.  We could even pretend to do a VBS.
Here is a picture of the corner of our yard we want to put our playhouse in...
once the wood is gone...

This all started when the electric company left us a note that they would be removing a tree that was in the power line.  That is fine, but now we have a new area of the yard to play in.  But, we need a playhouse.
We use our imagination to play lots of things:  a yardstick is a horse, and legos and make just about anything even kitchen food. My parents will not allow us to have a Wii or a Xbox or anything like that.  We are allowed playdoh, legos, colored pencils, crayons, markers, and paint.  We are allowed to play in sand and water and run around outside.
We like our life...we just want a playhouse.  So we are asking others to help us out.
